Soltech strives to build a lifestyle for our planet’s future. It is more than an interior design piece; it is a “green” statement. However, the future must start with communities. Plants deserve a place in homes, businesses, and schools. We must ensure that our schools provide a safe and healthy environment for students, teachers, and the community. One way to accomplish this is to improve indoor air quality, (IAQ). EPA studies have suggested that indoor levels of air pollution may be 2 to 5 times, even up to 100 times levels of outdoor air pollution. Pollutants are silent attackers. Children are more susceptible to air contaminants because of their small body mass relative to the amount of air they breathe. Do we need this hindrance to the one mission of schools: educating our children? When 50% of the nation’s schools have been diagnosed with air quality issues, there is a large need for reliable purifiers. Plants naturally purify the surrounding air but need a means to flourish indoors. As you can see, Soltech enables growth, literally and figuratively.
